Back home

So this morning I awoke in my own bed and went out on my balcony and watched this sun rise.
Coming home from an amazing vacation doesnt have any let down when this is what you come home to!

Toulon, France

The last stop on our most recent adventure was Toulon , France.

We spend the afternoon wandering around an open air market that was so typical and quaint we took tons of pictures.

You had to be there with the accordian playing in the back ground and the french language filling the air.

May 21 st Paige's 8th Birthday

WOW! A great way to celebrate your birthday!

Room service in bed for breakfast, a formal dinner with the entire dinning room singing you happy birthday! Not to mention Genoa Italy!

Happy 8th Birthday Paige!

Genoa

Visited San Lorenzo Chapel ,very cool old black and white stone.

Christopher Columbus' house
There was a festival for children going on the day we got there so it was fun to watch them do some dances and other typical festival things.

More Fun on the Ship

Roller blade course- Genoa Italy in the background

The kids pool with a water slide was a big hit!

(Bree and asperagus tart)

(Paige loved the rock wall and climbed all the way up multiple times!)

Pisa

We have been here before, but there was construction going on and Seth was about 5 months old. So this was great to have the whole family and to be able to climb to the top of the tower. I took home a brused elbow suvenier from slipping on the stairs.(The stairs are the original marble stairs and you can see a wearing patern in them from foot steps over hundreds of years, they are slick!) Dan tried on a security guards hat while he wasnt looking, and we saw Grandma and Grandpa wandering around once we got to the top!

Sorrento

What a great look at real Italian life styles!

It was a beautiful day and we just walked around deeper into the city away from the tourist path and got a good look at what you would do if you lived there. Its exactly what you would think.
