If you think adventure is dangerous, you should try routine- it's lethal.

What we ate in England
Right: cool place we ate #1 an old Cathedral turned resteraunt!
Left: a Hot jacket- It's just a baked potato, but I'm going to start calling them "hot jackets" now!
Dandelion (root) beer-
No one but Dan would drink it...ask him!
(the kids said it tasted like black licorice)
A cave...yep!
What is a curlywurly?? We did not know so we bought one...it chewey carmel covered in Chocolate....now we both know!
Anti Gravity burger, cool looking, but "wheres the beef?"
Above: Cola rollers. They look like ball bearings, but taste like coke . Just dont bite them, they feel like ball bearings too!
Below: Paige was impressed with the service of her tomato soup and cheese toast.
The Hieghts of Abraham
We traveled to a near by town and visited a sight called the Hieghts of Abraham. It was a beautiful day and we took a cable car to the top of the mountain. The sights were beautiful. There were a few fun play grounds for the kids and a old miners cave we got to tour. We mined for quartz and brought some home.
I think the kids liked the "Punch and Judy show" the best!
Derby
It's pronounced by the locals as "Darrrby" and the little towns that are around it called "Derbyshire" how cute is that...a shire!
It was a cute little town without many tourist. We stayed in a newer hotel right at the city center which was actualy attatched to the bus station.
It was very convienent for getting around to the other areas we wanted to visit. On the last day we stayed in Derby and looked at a few of the local sights.
We went to the Derby royal crown china factory (you may have heard of them...they make the royal families dishes. They also had been commisioned to make the plates for the Titanic)
Unfortunatly we didnt get to do the factory tour since they don't let anyone under 1o years old in......
We also went to the Pickford house museum wich is a home that has been re-furbished and set up as it would have been in the 1700's. we got dressed up, and played with old toys. It was fun.
We also did some shopping . It was a nice relaxing day!
