The Hill of Tara has been used for milions of years as a the Hill of Kings, even up into the 1960's it has been used as political forums. In the very old times it was said to be a trial ground for who should be the next king, or sub king (Ireland has had as many as 140 sub kings at any given time)
recently it has been excivated and found to be burial grounds. Cremated remains in urns turned upside down and placed in the nowels. From the ground it looks like a bunch of bumps and low spots. the areal view wich I stole from google images is amazing! How they made these ancient designs from the ground and yet it makes such an amazing arial design!
