USA or Bust

In order to stay awake our first order was of some tacos! 

Grandma and Grandpa were so nice as to take us out for some of their favorite tacos. 

Apparently the stay awake part was optional.

We were able to attend a wedding of the daughter of a very good friend!

We cuddled with cousins

We played with cousins

We went to the Temple

We got a perm..... from a beauty school

We prepared a missionary with all the "Things"

We had a bridal shower

We tasted doughnuts with a bride and a groom

We attended a Grooms dinner high on top of the SLC temple spires

We saw friends and had late night laughs and , little baby snuggles. We bounced in bounce houses and swam in thunderstorms, we had family photos and bar b q food, and we ate at Grandma and Grandpas house and someone got her certification to be a deep sea diver and as if that wasn't enough................

We had a wedding and got a new son in our family! 

Wrestling camp

In Naples the wrestling team was pretty much a walk on team. If you wanted to wrestle, you could, even if you had never done it before. It was good. It was nice for Paige to be able to try and see if she liked it, and she did like it. 

However Stuttgart has a try out process and are a better team so it will be harder to get on the team. Paige would really like to be on the team. So we spent a week at wrestling camp once we got to Germany. When I say "WE" I mean it because the female chaperone fell through and I got the job. I learned how to score and run the timer while Paige learned to take down wrestlers and pin them. 

We spent the night in the school every night for a week, until I couldn't take it anymore and took the girls back to the hotel room (for the last two nights) and made seth give up his room for the girls.

She was worn out and spent most of her lunch and afternoon breaks sleeping.

She also came back with some souvenirs. 

Well, we shall see how tryouts go this winter.

It was a short three weeks of house hunting, in processing and car shopping in which we accomplished Girls camp and Wrestling camp for Paige and a lot of down time fore Seth (His desire before heads out for lots of work) and found no house or car as we had hoped......

Time to head to the USA

Whenever we leave a place we have lived for a while we always think about all the things we will miss. In the end we always decide its the people we will miss most. 

But maybe this time it is also the food......

No- just kidding, its the people

and the food!

The Island of Sardinia

Did I mention we are moving? Yes, graduation, Logan's visit, and mission call, girls camp , Tori and Ammon getting married (which means a state side trip) ALSO WE ARE MOVING TO GERMANY....

But first, in the middle of it all we decided to take a four day trip to the Island of Sardinia. 

We moved out of our house and into a hotel. Then we dropped our bags and headed to Sardinia for four days to just pretend like we weren't stressed beyond belief and let future us deal with it next week.

Girls camp

I enjoyed working with the young women for three years in Italy, the first year I asked two sweet women to help me and we had 6 girls.

The second year I worked to gather with a group of four women and we had 15 girls including 2 Italian girls.

This year we got the stake leadership involved and they pulled of a girls camp for the whole stake (nearly 60 girls) 

They loved each other across the language barrier, they learned and felt the spirit and grew and the leadership learned how to do these amazing uplifting activities and I feel like I was super honored to work on and witness this amazing first ever stake girls camp in Southern Italy.
