pre- teen

Paige was pretty upset when she found out that two other celebrations would be taking place on HER Birthday. It was the last day of school, as well as Seth's promotion and his promotion party. IN the end I think she got a lot of good celebrating out of the situation.

We started with breakfast in bed on her real birthday (and then again on the day of her party)
(Yes it's ice cream, see the post about the last day of school tradition)

Dad flew into town for 48 hours and we made sure she got a special gift from us while he was here (so she didn't have to wait till her party day!)

Then there was the real celebration!!!! Happy Birthday Party day ( at the roller rink with 15 of her friends)
She got to spin the wheel of fortune and win tickets to spend at the "shop"
Ice cream cake, Pizza, Soda, and Icee!
Making a wish for a great 12 th year!
 Look at this outfit!
 So many friends!

Then finally, a birthday dinner at her favorite Chinese restaurant.

It's going to be a great 12th year!

A month of Sunday's

It's really more like a few months of Saturdays (summer that is)
But it has been a tradition to have ice cream Sunday's on the last day of school for the last 10 years. (Longer than I have been writing this blog) There is a good chance if you scroll back to May two thousand anything, you'll find more pics of this tradition.

Different homes, in different states/ Countries, different friends, but always us...
Always, creamy cold goodness to start the summer right!
YUM!
