Gold = Virtue

Years ago when I was in YW, there was no gold in the set of colors that represented different values we should incorporate into our lives, and the medallion you earned after 6 years of work had a girl in a flowing dress on it.

I love the changes in the program and that they added Gold for virtue and put the Temple on the medallion. Its the goal to build YW who incorporate goals to gain each of these attributes in their lives so they can desire and be worth of temple blessings. They also placed a small ruby like stone on the medallion, to represent the verse in Proverbs 31 ...A virtuous Woman - her price is far above Rubies!

Tori worked 6 long hard years and really does exemplify the attributes she has learned. She is amazing and I am more proud of her and her choices every day!
