Camp land on the bay - Mission Bay, CA.

Some time after I had gotten married and moved out my family began vacationing in San Diego at a camp ground that was right on the beach. My younger siblings have lots of memories of doing this. I did participate in a few of these vacations when Dan would be gone for military duty in the summer.
We decided as siblings to do this trip to kick of the summer.
( this is seth playing with his Ipod next to the electric outlet on the camp site- Uhmm.... really?)
( This camp ground is not "traditional"  camping. Its kind of like a place to crash. "bring your tents and campers and we will squeeze you in " On a holiday weekend it is over packed! Then we squeezed 14 people into a 5 person tent spot!)

( My poor sister and her husband got a stomach flu while we were there. They were such troopers and tried to enjoy themselves as much as they could.)

 (Beach time is always fun!)

(Seaport Village for Ben & Jerrys ice cream and a carosel ride is also tradition)

It was a good time for all(except those who were sick) and we will look back on it with fond memories (after we all get over the flu bug we caught and the sun burns!) Ahhhh! family vacation!

"It aint over till the fat lady sings"

Although you have been out of High school for 6 months and have a semester of college under your belt it's just not a real graduation till you have marched in a robe to the tune of "Pomps and Circumstance" and had the official hand shake. It is most definatly not official until you have moved your tasel from one side of a funny shapped hat to the other and sat beneath a rain of those same said hats.

Congratulations Logan it is now official ...You are smart, an achiever and a High School graduate!
