It's spring and there are some red tulips in my front yard, we are painting lovely bright eggs (The universal symbol for re- birth) and the weather is getting nice! It's so wonderful!
Our Easter was casual, we actually did our festivities on Saturday since Dan was off to Hawaii for another assignment.
Then on Easter Sunday as we reflected on our blessings of having the opportunity for eternal life and being grateful for our Savior, we were also able to hear from our Prophet. It is so amazing to have a prophet of God on this Earth today.
I was touched by how many people spoke at conference about loving others of other faiths and being patient with those finding their own path to belief. Offering unconditional love to all. That is just what our Savior taught.
I know that My savior lives and I love to celebrate his rising from the dead and what that means in re- birth for me. I love to be inspired by his apostles on this earth today and it was a great Easter Sunday.
