Fiona and thier daughter Elli took us to New
grange.
Older than the pyramids these mounds were used as burial grounds.
Above the door entrance to this chamber burial there is a small square. Durring the equinox the sun shines right through that square and lights the entire chamber. It is perfectly engenered so that at the right time two times a year it works perfectly.
All around the mounds are protective and decorative stones that have celtic designs engraved on them. Many, many years before the celtic time. This may be where the sybols and traditons began.
