July 1st is not the usual day that we celebrate our countries independance, but when you live in and work with another county you celebrate it when it make sense for extra vacation days! Here in Valencia we celebrate it by holding a large good old fashioned hamburger and hot dog BBQ and inviting the other NATO nations to join us. It's kinda funny because its alot of work for us to set up and clean up and serve so many people, who do not even celbrate this holiday. However, it is a lot of fun seeing thier reactions to "Root Beer" "Flaming Hot Cheetos" or trying to explain "Sour Cream and Onion chips" Its also a lot of fun to be congratulated our our independance and our countries succsess and strength. (Has any one ever congratulated you on the 4th of July?)
"Felizidades"
looks like tons of fun!
