Naples

Our first stop was Naples and there we were hit by a barge of pushy Italian taxi drivers.

Dan argued with one the whole length of the dock. After we escaped, we were headed towrds the metro when we met Amberto. He was an old toothless man with a van trying to make a buck. He made us a deal that sounded better than a metro. Our drive with him through Napels was bummpy, and a little scary at times, but much more beautiful and personal than the metro would have been.

The counrty side was breath taking!

He pulled over in a spot where we could get out and view the water and the home build on the side of the hill. On the fence/railing there were hundred of metal locks. He told me in his broken English (which I am not complainng about because I have no Italian to work with) That when they get married they put a lock on the fence so they can not throw thier marriage to the Sea.

On closer inspection we found many of them painted with names and some had little baby locks conected to them that looked newer that the larger original one.
