It was a Friday with no school, and Dan was out of town. So a friend and I took our kids and went to do a Kayak tour of the Naples bay. We started off in this small hard to find tiny alcove of a beach and got a quick rowing lesson. It was a beautiful day, a small breeze and a lot of sun and yet some how back at my house (30 min away) there was hail....

We stopped here for a short while to stretch our legs check out the jelly fish
We boated around seeing sights on the water, You wouldn't think there was much to see out on the water, but it was actually quite amazing!
To see ancient ruins poking up out of the water was pretty awesome. Our tour guid told us the sea level has not risen, the ruins have sunk into the ocean because the land was not stable.

Roman ruins that have sunk and are barley above water anymore.
The water was so clear you could see straight through it to the bottom! That was Paige's favorite thing. It was hard to keep her rowing when she just wanted to look at the fish swimming all around.

These caves were man made back in early Roman time to keep their ships stored.
Seth got to ride in the boat with the tour guide, which made his experience much more relaxing than most and he was able to ask questions and hear all the comments and explanations being made!

After today I claim right to not be partnered with Paige next time we go boating! No rhythm !
