He was a good Sultan, and ruled a fair Kingdom with his Sultana, until she was enchanted by an evil sword and tried to kill her husband. He took it from her and was enchanted himself. He had her killed with the sword and married a different woman every night and had her be headed the next morning for years until he met Shaharazod.
Shaharazod told him wonderful stories that all needed to be finished the next day so she kept her head for year by enticing the Sultan with another great story. Until she finally ran out of stories on the 1,001 day.
As the enchanted sword called for her to be beheaded the Sultan had to fight the spell that had control over him and win the battle of good VS evil.
Shaharazod was prized with saving the kingdom and immortalized in the "Tales From the Arabian Nights"
