It was a wonderful quiet day of family and hanging out and eating burritos that dad made. Opening gifts and enjoying some family time.
We were excited to have Dad home for Christmas - seems like thats the story often, but we do feel fortunate that we can be together since we are aware of how many soldiers families aren't as lucky.
Christmas fell on a Friday this year and it was 5 days before the wedding and 1 day before the wedding craziness began, so we took the time to not think about it and just enjoy the day of family.
The missionary got new luggage , Seth and Paige got a gift of a little party with their friends before the big move.
The groom and bride to be received house hold items, and mom got a beautiful painting of Christ.
Dad was happy with his nice chocolates and being at home with his family!
Then there was the adventure gift that the kids look forward to all year, this years adventure.....
Disneys California Adventure anyone? Yes Please!
Our new baby was excited to get some beard care- it is important since its the first new child we have had that came with a beard!
