A few years ago Katie came to Italy with charts and history and names and a dead end. We spent some time looking for our family history in the area. ( its in a post from October 2016)
After she left she continued correspondence with the priest from the church that she was getting records from. This correspondence lead to contact with actual living relatives in the area.
When my mom came to visit Germany I took her to Italy and we went to visit the family. Cousins and Uncles, in laws, older family and younger family they all came out and prepared us a wonderful meal. They showed us around the local area.

We Toured ancestral homes and family libraries. We saw furniture and pictures that have been handed down for generations and views over the valley that have been seen by our ancestors in generations past. Our family has lived in this area since the early 1600's
Of course when in Italy you must also see Rome!
