1930's duckpin bowling uses smaller pins and a ball just larger than a softball. The ball has no holes for your fingers, and because it is a bit more difficult to get a strike the players get 3 chances to roll.
We went duckpin bowling because we were in Baltimore of course.
There used to be a duck pin bowling place in Bridgeport, Ct that we went to often...I liked it better than regular bowling! FUN!
