While we were in NY awaiting Logan's last surgery and living at Helen Hayes Rehab hospital working on developing wheel chair skills we were the recipients of some amazing blessings.
Our friends and family showed us so much love we were blown away.
Paige had come to see Logan and to attend a Memorial for our Mema. She was able to attend a birthday party, anniversary dinner and have great fun with cousins. When we were still stuck in NY and not sure how to get Paige home The Caruthers family drove from Maryland to NY took Paige to her favorite place in the city (Dilan's Candy shop) and DROVE HER TO MISSOURI so she could be back with her Dad and brother. Logan and I spent the 4th of July and our Birthdays in the Hospital. No worries, lots of firework pictures and videos were shared with us, and multiple family members brought us cake and goodies, balloons and presents. Amazing love was felt!
Logan's BFF Kaniesha came to stay with us and made the days way more exciting! We grilled out behind an abandoned building , tried lots of good Italian food. It was wonderful to have someone else help take care of Logan's needs.

We received gift packages from so many friends and grandma made big baggy shorts that fit over the external fixate-rs. Love notes from Mema weekly and visitors from Logan's work and well wishes via Facebook and wonderful phone calls and skype meeting with cousins and aunts and uncles. We had amazing missionaries that visited us multiple times per week. So wonderful!
I was able to rent a car and drive to Connecticut and visit some of my relatives and even to RI to see my Grandpa at his beach cabin. It was such a special opportunity to hug on my 98 year old grandpa and see my far away family!
We finally got to go home ! We flew on a private jet and were delivered to our front door in Missouri .
