SURPRISE!

Lunch @ Tori's favorite place "Spokes"

 The air plane landed and the beautiful Angela was there to pick us up. She was nearly the only one notified of our arrival, to be honest it was merely the night before when Logan was even sure she would be able to get enough of her on line classes done in order to make the trip.
As we made the short trip from the airport to the cute little house with the red door occupied by 7 female college students we made a tricky phone call.

Logan : "Tori, Hey what are you up to? I am board. Chat with me......."

As we pull up to the "Dip" sign that marks Tori's house Logan excuses herself from her phone call by passing it off to me
Mom: " Tori, Logan is leaving her towels all over the house and using her broken legs as an excuse to not pick them up. You are going to have to talk to me while she does her clean up."

Mean while Logan makes her wobbly run across the yard, knocks on the door and convinces the  room mate to let her into Tori's room.

Then Angela and I hear over the phone :
Tori: " ARE YOU GIVING ME A JOKE RIGHT NOW?? AHHH!"

 It was a fast weekend with mostly Birthday plans. Tori's favorite past time, thrift shopping, getting our nails done, eating at our favorite places, and trying to get Tori to work which isn't too hard since she works at a snow cone place and AZ fall is 90 degrees! The best thing we did (other than surprise her for her 18th birthday) was attend the open house at the PHX LDS temple.  You will remember earlier in this blog how I documented the building of the temple and how I was there for the placement of Moroni on the top. It was so great to see it fully finished! The girls loved it, it was so beautiful!
